If you have a job, chances are that you experience workplace stress.  This stress can impact your performance at work and have other negative health consequences as well.  But, there are many ways that you can relieve stress at work, and we have a list of them right here for you.

1.       Stress Balls – Stress balls are just simply malleable balls that you can use to “squeeze” the stress and frustration out of you.  They are rather inexpensive, and unobtrusive, so they can be used in pretty much any work setting.

2.       Take a Walk – Taking a walk outside of your workplace can do wonders for your stress levels.  It can get you outside, and it helps take your mind off of the stress-causing environment of your workplace.  The best part is that it is free.

3.       Relaxing Music – Relaxing music can definitely help relieve tension and stress created in the workplace.  It lets your body relax and allows the stress to slip away.  But, you need to make sure that the music that you are listening to will not affect your daily duties as well as ensure that it is allowed in your workplace.

4.       Games – Games are a great way to relieve stress.  A good example would be to play a game after you get a sale or lead as a telemarketer.  This can also apply to many other sales related jobs where you can be rewarded by your performance.

5.       Drink a Cup of Tea – There are many teas on the market that are designed to help you relieve stress.  Not only are they good for you, but in most cases, there should be no issue with you having the tea at work.  Even if it isn’t stress relieving, even your favorite drink (non-alcoholic of course) can help you to relax.

Though the list is far from complete, it should give you a starting point for ideas that you can use at work to help you relieve stress.  Just remember that you can leave work behind at the end of the day, and that there are ways you can find to relieve stress while you are there.

Feel free to add any other stress relieving tips below in the comments – I think we could all benefit from the contributions that you make.
